    Sharing RAM with graphics card

    I would like to know how to share RAM with my graphics card.
    Because mine really sucks.

    this is only possible with onboard vga on your mainboard

    in that case you will have to enter your bios and change the settings for the amount of ram that the vga can take from the availbale ram

      or u can get those newer cheaper models frm ATi and nvidia that supports sharing ur computers memory making ur card upto 512 mb.
      Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

        oh, didnt know there were cards that actually use system ram as well?

        i would not expect, however, that these kind of cards will turn into powerful devices simply by extending the memory

          the new pci-express entry cards tested quite well, especially considering the
          price

          the bus is so fast and system ram is better(only for newer computers)

            I put a PCI-E 64MB on board up to 256MB shared MSI card in my 4000+ build, I'm not a gamer and it works good.
