Try to find title of a song

Hello everyone, I know this is odd question but I thought I give it a shot. I'm looking for the title and artist of a song that was in Failure to Launch. This song plays twice in the movie, both times is when Tripp brings home the girls. The first time is in the beginning of the movie, just before Terry Bradshaw catches them in bed. The second time is when Tripp brings Paula home to meet his parents. A phrase of the song is "when you smile I can tell we know each other very well." I own the soundtrack and this one is not on it. I've also tried Imdb.com with no luck yet. So I thought I give a try here since everyone is so knowledgeable. Any help would be great. Thanks

Thank You Chewy, that's the song. Google now why didn't I think of that. How did you figure out which is the correct version of this song? I found about 5 different versions. Then I reread your post and googled for Fastball and found it. It was actually on a various artist compilation album called Lounge-a-Palooza. I put in a order with Tower Records but it's not in stock so I'll to wait till they find one. Thank You very much

then googled lyrics for the song to confirm your quote

I knew after that luck I wouldn't be able to find the actual song tho
