    Choppiness problem, wmv to DVD

    Hi,
I have a problem with conversion of wmv files to DVD. I want to apologize if I am in a wrong thread or if something doesn’t make sense but English is not my native language, but I’ll try my best

When I try to convert wmv file that contains HD video source, during the process of converting there is no problem. But the finished file has this problem of “choppiness” or little lagging like if you put couple of frames out of the film. It is especially visible in calm slowly moving scenes. Moving, moving, little lag, moving, moving, little lag… It’s nothing terrible but it is really disturbing because you can see it and I don’t know how to get rid of it.

I tried several programs including TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress, TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 and also DVD Flick, all of them have this problem.
Is there some sort of advice, or possible solution someone could give me?
I’m new to this and I honestly have no idea about the advanced option these programs have.
If it helps the wmv files uses this codec:

    Stream 0
    Codec: wma2
    Language:
    Type: Audio
    Channels: 2
    Sample rate: 48000 Hz
    Bits per sample: 16
    Bitrate: 192kb/s
Codec Name: Windows Media Audio 9.2
Codec Description: 192 kbps, 48 kHz, stereo 1-pass CBR

    Stream 1
    Codec: WMV3
    Language:
    Type: Video
    Resolution: 1280x720
Codec Name: Windows Media Video 9
    Codec Description: Professional

    Thanks for any advice.
