TMPGenc DVD Author 3 - Adding menus to dvd problem
Hi,
I'm sort of new to this so be nice...
I'm trying to simply add menus to an existing dvd recorded from a dvd writter or already shrinked with dvd shrink.
The thing is its recorded as NTSC don't know if its a problem.
The thing is i've been told that TMPGENC DVD Author 3 doesn't re-encode a dvd 5 that already fits with in the size. So i followed the instruction manual on this site.. by adding the source wizzard from dvd rip on the hdd Video ts folder etc.. the file says has many chapters of video ts files and the one i added in the wizzard sources says 1208 mb so if i add all of the files its shoudl be fitting in DVD 5 source . However when added it apprears like double the size of the original dvd 5 thus. I had to reduce it to 2750 as VBR.
Then when i encode it takes just as long as the video or even slower like 8hours is this suppose to be like this? All i wanted to was add menus on a dvd 5 dvd that is already the right size? Isn't it just suppose to link and not re-encode?
Please let me know what settings to have it at?
Original dvd is recorded VBR NTSC... but when added automatically and on the default 6000 kb/s its much larger is there away to add it as is and not need to change the size.
I hope i have not confused everybody but i bassically want to know what settings to add a dvd 5 video files with menus which should basically not re-encode but on default setting it comes thorugh larger thus won't fit???
Running P4 2.8ghz 1gb Ram..
Please let me know how long it normally takes just added menus to a already dvd 5 ripped to correct size.
