    help with lite-on dvdrw

    never had a problem before recently. started getting this. updated my firmware and fixed it for a few trys then it started again. whats wrong

      so it's the disc? if i run the firmware update then restart it works for one burn then goes back to messing up

        A computer with a 40 gig hard drive is getting old, power supply might be weak, nero might be corrupt, I would disconnect the dvd-rom and have burner jumpered master at end of cable and closest power connector to power supply

        Lower burn speed to 8x
