    Write Error

I have been using Nero with my transcoding program for quite a while with no problems. However, lately I have been getting write errors, can some one check out my burn log and help me out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your burner doesn't like your discs. I suggest Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

It does the same thing with verbatims which is what I normally use. I got the Sony re-writeables so I dont keep wasting my verbatims.

Could it be my burner needs cleaning?

While you are using an old version of Nero, it is probably the most stable version they have ever released.
Your firmware is the most current ~ http://tdb.rpc1.org/#DVR110D
Would you consider a test with Imgburn with the RW?

ImgBurn is a lightweight CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application that everyone should have in their toolkit... and it's free!

          ...and post the log here.

Truthfully though, your drive is getting on in years and if you are having similar success with the Verbs it might be time for a new drive.
