    Question.. Falling microwaves special

    Hi all,

I have a question about a movie I just made. One guy comes walking and a microwave comes falling down on him. I tried to make it look realistic, but I think there must be a way to do it better. Anyone??

If you visit Youtube, then search for falling microwaves, you can judge..

    Thanks a lot!

    Cool!
    You raise the blade,
    You make the change,
You rearange me till I'm sane.
You lock the door, throw away
    the key,
    There's someone in my head
    and it's not me.

That looks very realistic to me as it is.

      Good job!

Thanks guys, but isn't there anyone who can help me out with the moment that the microwave actually hits the guy?

          Why, what's wrong with it?

          It looked perfect to me.

Or is perfect not good enough?

            Hmm

It looks pretty good... but if you pause it where he gets hit you can see the microwave comes up behind his head... is that the point?

What I would suggest is editing it frame by frame - basically, open each frame in Photoshop or similar and you can mess with it to make it look like he acually got hit in the head.
There are video editing programs; but I'd stay away from them as really all they do is edit frame by frame, but it's harder to be accurate. Think the old cartoon days, when they would animate one frame at a time - do the same with your video.

If you need help saving your video as frames and back again, try VirtualDub, just select BMP file as the type.
