    "class factory" error

For some reason, when I encode my own backups, some of the files cannot be played on WMP. "Class Factory cannot supply the requested class" or some stupid message. When I go to windows online to get help it says that it is "error 80040111" and offers no more help. This happens mysteriously not just on my downloaded files, but on my own rips! It is very aggravating and I believe it has to do with WMP. In addition to this problem, I cant get Divx player 2.0 to play these files either. They play for a couple of minutes, and then I get the "runtime error, abnormal program termination" error message. Very frustrating. Has anyone had this same experience? Windows 2000 Pro, Athlon 800, 768 Ram, etc, etc
