    Xbox Live Trials

Does anybody know why XBox Live trials are so rare now? We used to get them a lot ages ago and I haven't seen one for ten months. I have the PS3 as well but there's some games I have on the Xbox 360 that I like playing. I have a year of Xbox Live but I'm just curious why the trials are so rare now. It's bad enough icrosoft stopped the 30-day-trials and changed them to the 48-hr-trials and now the 48-hr-trials are rare.

    Many thanks.

Probably because they no longer need to sell the Xbox Live concept, it sells it self? An Xbox Live yearly subscription can be had for quite cheap these days though.

The consoles used to come with 3 free Xbox Live Gold 1 month trials, in that you can create up to 3 accounts and when you refuse to sign up to Gold, you get a free 1 month trial Gold account. Do they still do that?

Also beware of some of the trial offers, they won't let you cancel online like normal subscriptions - you'll have to call Microsoft support to stop billing from occurring when the trial ends.
