    Win 8

I just installed Win 8, Chameleon Clock, a reminder

program that pops up when an appointment is due, will

not open, when I try to uninstall it, I get the

message that the program is open and must be closed to

uninstall, cannot find it to close it, another WIn 8

nightmare, used this program for years without a

problem, any help appreciated. It was always hidden in

the start menu, when putting the cursor on the start

area it would pop up, now nothing. I was asked why, if I

do not like Win. 8 why am I using it, it came with the

computer, I am trying to get back to Win 7.I have a Win

7 disk but Its an upgrade, I believe you need a full

install disk to re-install. Thanks for any advice,

Maybe Task Manager can be used to locate the Chameleon Clock process and shut it down before you uninstall it (it's probably set to auto-start on boot)?

You should try to run it in Windows 7 compatibility mode first though, here's a guide:
