ripit runs but burn not successful

i run ripit4me1.4.15.4 it runs opens dvd decoder. then runs fixvts1.5 then the dvd shrink starts. it analyzes and encodes ok then when it is ready burn it goes to about 3% burn and crashes. says burn not successful. am i doing something wrong? this is my first time using it and it hasnt worked yet. i have tried both wizard mode and 1 click mode. very confusing to me why it is not working.

Logs are either in your ripping folder or you have saved them. From RipIt4Me: Logs/Settings menu.

It sound more like a burning issue than a ripping one.

Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

Thread transferred to Blank Media and Burning forum.

            It's definitely a burn issue.

            Post your Ner0 log. It is in C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.log (if you have Ner0 7 it's in C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero7\Core\NeroHistory.log)

And read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

I am a little concerned here. Did it really take 3 hours to run FixVTS? Or did you go away from the macine for a bit.

I guess then you had RipIt4Me in the background while DVD Shrink did its shrinking for next 3 hours?

i did leave ripit up in background on all but one occasion. i tried several times i believe that log is from the last try and i did do it in wizard mode. it didnt take long for fixvts but usually does take awhile for my shrink to encode.
