    DVD-R fails but not DVD+RW - NERO

    Hi Guys,

I just purchased the Gigabyte DualDVD burner and I have managed to successfully burn DVDs using the supplied RiDATA DVD+R but when I used Princo DVD-R or Record brand they start burning but fail and Nero displays Write Error - Count not burn disc-at-once..

is this a media issue not being compatible or would there be something wrong with Nero or even the burner?

I havent been able to buy any other media yet to try ..

    Could anyone help?

    Thanks

The Princo DVDs have a terrible reputation - poor quality of manufacture, high failure rate...

I agree with setarip, Princo are terrible and always have been for all types of disk including CDR and DVDR. Get some Riteks and kiss your problems goodbye.
