I'm not sure what is the best forum for this question, so I'll start here.
I've downloaded a foreign language film in avi/divx format, which claims to have a subtitles file associated with it. However, neither the latest VLC or ConvertXtoDVD will recognise the subtitles file.
The subtitles file provided is an idx file. I was under the impression that to display subtitles you need an idx file plus a sub file. Is this correct, or can you display subtitles with only an idx file?
