    ****ing overpeer...

    i strongly believe that everyone heard about the company overpeer. (these ****ers are trying to destroy p2p networks, by penetrating damaged audio files into the system).
    has anyone of you specific information about that company- what they do, how they do it.......
    any link or hint would be great.

    according to posts in other boards, most of the people in the file-sharing community don´t fear what´s going on right now. i think this could become a real problem and lead into the end of p2p filesharing.

    I've heard a lil' bit about this...and from what I remember....These companies are hired to send garbage files over the file sharing community...
    basically they use up bandwidth...
    Piss off people who receive the junk files....
    They're basically there as a nuisance (spelling??).
    They don't specifically pose a threat...they just piss ya off.... as far as I remember at least.
