Default Blu-Ray to video file on PC?

Is there any way to copy a Blu-Ray movie from the disc to my computer? Basically to change the source to a file? If creating a file is impossible then what about copying Blu-Ray to DVD? Is there a way to do that?

Is the Blu-ray a commercial movie? If it is, then it's copy-protected, and we can't help with these kinds of problems on this forum. If it isn't a commercial Blu-ray, do you still need to keep the movie in the Blu-ray format after editing it? If it doesn't matter, then you can use VidCoder to convert it to something easier to edit like MP4:
