Exporting to VHS tape ex Premiere 6

I'm trying to export a clip to VHS (PAL) via the S-video output on my Rage Fury 128. Clip was captured at 25fps 720x576 as recommended in the P6 manual. It was exported from the timeline (Write to Video Tape/Full Screen) to a Panasonic S-VHS recorder. The clip was recorded okay, but when I played it back on TV (both normal 4:3 and widescreen) only the top left quadrant of the picture was visible. It was if the clip was to big to fit totally on the screen. Anyone got any idea as to where I may have gone wrong?
