Software Cinemaster Playback
My DVD software just stopped play back on all DVD's. When I put a DVD in the DVD disc drive, the software boots and you can hear spinning sound; however, it will not play the DVD. Here are the specs:
HP Pavilion 9686C
AMD Athlon 700 MGz Processor
Pioneer DVD-Rom 114
Software Cinemaster 99
Version 2,0,0,1019
Software DVD: 2.0.36.6150
Sent HP e-mail to troubleshoot. Response - (1) Confirm auto-run feature is functioning properly (no problem there); (2) re-install DVD player software from recovery disc (done). In addition, read posted threads under DVD Digest for the last year for playback and troubleshooting and cannot find resolution to problem.
Can anyone resolve this issue?
