    is this one a fake?

    I think I've ruled that all of my files are fakes. But, I don't know about this one.
    Video Stream
    Frame Size....................352x288, 25.000fps
    # of frames (time).........93708 (1:02:28)
    Decompressor...............Divx 5.0.2 Codec
    Number of key frames...313
    min/avg/max/totlkey frm size..1132/1132/1133 (347k)
    min/avg/max/totldelta frm size....58/58/58 (5290k)

    what do you guys think? this is a part one

    It seems "legitimate". Are you able to view the file?

      Looks like a fake. Either that, or someone went through a lot of trouble, to hide the real contents.

      The numbers I have quoted, specify the frame sizes for I and P frames. The fact that they are equal strongly suggest that the video contains the same image from start to finish. Which of course coinsides nicely with the fact that you only get a black screen when you play the file.

      The funny thing is that according to the specs the file should only be about 6-8 MB. If this is not the case something must have been attached to the back of the file.

      EDIT: or maybe it has an audio stream ?

      How big is the file ?, and if the file is significantly larger than 6-8 MB, could you try compressing it with winzip, and check the size of the compressed file, it would be quite interessting to know how well it can be compressed.
