    System Clock Reference ERROR

    I converted a AVI to MPEG. 1 BIG mpeg file now. I have to cut it into 2 pieces. I figured that part out.. and pretty much know how to do that.

    When i use my VCD program and tell it to use my MPEG (part1) of 2 mpegs.. It checks everything OK except *SYSTEM CLOCK REFERENCE 1084 and has an X saying that its not acceptable and wouldnt work as vcd... so when i go to try to finish it thinkin it might be wrong.. Wont let me set the format up for NTSC and such.. Seeing that it is Invalid...

    Any Help Appreciated...

        "Im using the tmpgenc"

        Make certain to set the "System" tab to "MPEG1-Video CD" and NOT simply "MPEG1" (the default setting).

        Let us know of your success ;>}

          I have encountered the same situation, burn it anyway on a CD-RW and it should work. I have done so successfully.

            simple de-multiplex and simple multiplex your file using the mpeg-1 video-cd as the type

            BTW: clock reference s/b 1200

              thanks for the information.

              Since I am also using TMPGEnc, I would like to know if you had succes by changing the settings from System's tab to "MPEG1-Video CD" instead of "MPEG1" (the default setting).

              much appreciated !
