NO ONE can solve this problem too bad

still trying to convert divx to svcd, but still sound is off sync.
    1. extact wav with virtual dub then merge avi with TMPG
    result sound still of sync.

Problem is when I load the movie in virtual dub I get
improper VBR will encode audio header to CBR.
will skew the movie 3506 msec.

also tried I lot off things see post from herman .

Extract the audio with nandub instead, as follows.
    1) Load avi file into nandub
    2) Select 'Save WAV', in nandub.
    3) Rename extracted file to *.mp3 (it really is an mp3 file)
    4) Convert mp3 file to wav with besweet or whatever program you prefer.
Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.
