What is 9dots in top right corner

Could anyone help me, and tell me how, if possible, to turn off the 9 dots watermark that apears in the top right corner when ripped with DVD Decriptor or Smartripper?

what 9dots are you talking about???
neither of the two ripping tools inserts any kind of watermark nor would a *watermark* be removed by them.

I had tried a number of players and they had the dots at the top. So silly me ruled this out a long time ago, and I have been wasiting my time trying to find it in the vobdec side. Thanks for the reply I'm stupid!

I also getting 9 white dots on the top right corner.. This happened after i used TMPGenc. (same result with different versions). The original DIVX file plays fine with no white dots (watermark) on the top right corner. Same to happen when i converted to Video to MPG.

Perhaps a screenshot of this problem might be usefull.

I can only guess, but I would suspect that this is caused by, whatever mpeg decoder filter you are using.

That's the "watermark" of the Elecard mpeg-2 decoder DitrectShow filter. Remove it, and install the freeware Fraunhoffer decoders.
