    taking screen shots

    how would i go about taking a screen shot of an mpeg file that i have. I just want to take this shot so i can save it as a picture. What programs should i use. thanks for any help

    Perhaps the simplest methods are:

    If it's an MPEG1 file, simply load it into VirtualDub, move the slider to the frame you want to copy - and select "Copy to clipboard". Open a "paint" or graphics program and select paste. Svae your image.

    If it's an MPEG2 file, temporarily change the extender to .VOB, and follow the same procedure using "VirtualDubMod". (Remember to change the extender back to its original name when you're finished)
