    out of sync video

When i try to capture video through the program that came with my video card, ati radeon 9700 all in wonder. The audio is late and gets increasingly more late as the show goes on . What would be a good thing to try to fix this problem ?

This may be a stupid question but what would happen if i split the movie up into like four parts, then used the interleaving part of vdub to get the audio aligned correctly then merge the 4 parts back together, or is that impossible ?

What are you using to encode it? I know vdub has a 'match audio/video to sync' function under video -> fps.

Whatever you're using probably has a similar audio/video function that stretches/shrinks one of the two streams

That's possible. but it may be very difficult. If you resync the 4 parts VD may only shift the audiostream so that you will have a short part at the begining or end of the video where there is no audio-stream.
If you merge this parts, the video- and audio-stream may be out of sync again.
Better method would be to stretch the whole audio-stream.

Best method would be an other capture-methode.
