    Media Player Classic

Hi my problem is as folows.
I have a Matrox card with TV out. Since DvD playback is extended beond the limit's of my tv screen I want to use a filter that compresses the image so the overscan is compensated. Unfortunately this filter does not work with Windvd/PowerDvD.

So I want to use media player classic but I get no video, it just displays a blanc screen. The audio does work in DTS and DD.

Anyone who can help me with this?

    follow up

Well I got a video image on screen, selecting the overlay mixer in the playback section of the options section, but the divxg400 seems to mess up my video. The screen looks like the image is played 8 times, every time shifted 1/8 to the left. I think this is caused because two video filters are running at once, but I cannot select the DivX G400 filter in MPC so I think I am stuck.

It sounds like you are running your resoulotion going out to the tv too high, you need to drop it down to 800x600.

I am using Media Player Classic v6.4.5.8 right now. I have WinDVD on my PC and I just installed Elecard MPEG-2 decoder v2.0. However I'm still having problems playing VOB files on Media Player Classic... I can see the video but the audio is distorted.. Am I missing anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

I found this fix along with a will written how to.

By the way keep your resolution at 1280x1024 or under.

              Good Luck
