    Hi -

    I own DVDHelp.us, a pretty high-traffic site, and I LOVE my host.

    LunarPages

They are not only the best host I've ever had, but their customer service is absolutely incredible. They actually answer the phone when you call, they answer emails almost instantly (even at 3 AM), they offer everything you could need for a site (PHP, etc.), they add new servers all the time instead of overloading the old ones like everybody else does, and here's the most incredible part... When I switched over to them, one of the techs actually gave me his home phone number in case I had any problems, etc.

You can choose between two versions. The $7.95/month plan has 500 Megs space, 20 GB transfer, 1 database. The plan I'm on is $22.95 a month for 800 MB space, 60 GB transfer, and 5 databases. You get 15 subdomains, a very user-friendly online control panel where you can pretty much control everything, and they guarantee 99.9% uptime.

Just yesterday I told someone that I would rather shut down my site than host with anybody else. Yeah... they're really that good.

If you are in the UK - try http://www.valuehost.co.uk as it has what you need. 500MB, Mysql and a lot more - it is also only £6 amonth. I know its not free, but its pretty cheap for what you get.

It seems very good, bar the transfer max of 50GB.
          Generous 50 GB data transfer
In other words, if your web page is 20 KB in total file size, you would be able to receive 2.5 million(!) hits per month. If traffic increases beyond this limit you may purchase additional transfer GBs as low as $6.00/GB/month.
I get over 2 million hits a month on http://www.dvd-backup.tk and that number keeps rising. 20KB is a very small website. My website is about 10MB, so couple that with the 2million hits and its quite a lot. The company that hosts mine, states 31GB for £4.50, but mine is £6.50 and i believe it is unlimited.

Apart from that, it looks pretty cool

It looks very good, although i would go for the Silver/Gold option, not the standard as it lacks some of the things i need...
