windows media player 9 and nero problem

Hello all,

I have a small big problem. I can watch my DVDs with windows media player 9 normally, but when I install Nero 6.0, I cannot anymore. A Nero plugin gets installed in windows media player and I cannot play my DVDs anymore. If I uninstall Nero then I can watch them again.

You have any suggestions bcoz I need Nero to record my CDs and DVDs.

Have you tried an older version (5.x) of Nero?

You might consider using a commercial software DVD player, such as WinDVD or PowerDVD, for viewing your DVDs.

Many posters in the DVD and DVD Shrink sub-forums here have indicated regularly using a combination of NERO v.6.x.x.x (NOT 6.0.0.0, as it's extremely buggy. If that's what you have, update soon) and either WinDVD or PowerDVD without any conflict...
