Help, .avi file is wavy when scene moves

    Please help me.

I am ripping my DVD using Smartripper. No problems.

Then, I am using FlaskMpeg to convert the files to an .avi file. I have tried about 15 different setups and every way produces wavy lines when the camera is moving.

I am trying to do Fight Club and Toy Story. The same problem happens with both. I have tried both the Slow Motion and High Motion divx Codec. Both have the same problem. I have tried many different combos and keyframes and kilobits. Nothing is working.

Please help me if you can.

    In Flask, select "Deinterlace"...

Deinterlace did not work. I tried it Deinterlace with a setting of 1, 3, and 10. None worked. Could it be that the DVD just cannot be ripped appropriately? I did do Swordfish just fine the same way.

I can only tell you that I had no such problems using Flask v.0.594PX3 to convert the NTSC versions of the videos you named...

Are there some standard rules you use in Flask to convert DVD's. Once I get a good .avi created in Flask I don't have any problems after that. However, the last few DVD's I have done have had a few problems.

I.e. Kilobits, size, cropping, High Motion or Low Motion, etc.

Any kind of help would be appreciated.
