Problem Burning DVDs with DVD XCOPY

I am a neewbie-have memorex dvd burner both formats. Have dvd xcopy.Tried to copy several movies I have. Tried diff. media + and - +DVDRW. I have only been able to make 1 copy of 1 movie using this program which is suppose to disregard the copyright protection. It copies to hard drive as image file however when I burn it to dvd media it says unable to write volume copy failed. Can you help me figure out why I can't copy using this program which is suppose to be the program to use to break copyright material. Also why does it write to hard drive as image file then fail in the burn process.Would appreciate any help you might offer.Perhaps others have used this program and had the same problem.I have to use two disk bec program does not compress video and I can't figure out which is the main movie from the titiles and size of files.

    Thanks a lot

Try using the excellent (freeware) DVD Shrink (and a good burning program, such as NERO) to compress to fit on one DVD...
