    which format +-r,rw

I'm planning on getting a Plextor PX-708A and play my copies of rented dvd's on a Panasonic dvd-f85 and maybe a JBL dvd600 player.
What format should I record in?

    copies of rented dvd's
And of course, these copies will be deleted once you return your DVD, as otherwise, it would be illegal ...

As for your question, do a search for what format your DVD player supports here :

Note that R is always more compatible than RW, and chances are, your player should support DVD-R (since it's a Panasonic).

That's exactly what I meant. Thanks
