    avi slow motion

    there is one avi file I got,
    the video is in slow motion,the sound is perfectly fine

    the other avi files that I got plays normally

    I've tried DivxPro511GAINBundle
    my friend uses this codec and the video plays fine on his computer

    and I've tried few other Divx codecs and none of them could solve this


    I am using WMP 9
    Windows 2000

    I really need help

    If you download G Spot and run your problem file in that and post here what the file information reports we should be able to come up with something

      here it is,but with some black lines blocking some parts,due to the screen capture software i am using..


      the blocked part in "comments / metadata"
      says :

        alas the graphic doesn't show here, just your 'blocked' quote

        Not a good idea to add codecs adinfinitum but you could try the AC3 filter at http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=170391

                    As far as I can tell, the file looks fine, and you also said that it plays on your friend's setup without a hitch. So, maybe there is something in your setup that is slowing it down, such as memory or processing speed. Just a hunch, but is it only this video, or have you had this type of problem before? As another option, sometimes installing the video filter called FFDShow can clean up some compatibility difficulties with DivX and XviD encoded files. I had an XviD where the video froze while the audio continued, and FFDShow fixed it up. So you might want to give that a shot.
