    DVD Episode Fast Playback

Hi, this is my first post here...

I've recently been on a project to rip all of my dvds. I have ripped about 50 full movies already, very successfully. When I tried to rip some episodes from a Simpsons DVD I have... the playback of the output file was a little fast, and quite choppy... the sound was also effected with pops and clicks whenever the video jumped. I use XMPEG5 to encode all my movies. I usually use MS-MPEG4 V2 and Fraunhofer MP3 codec. When I use these settings to do a 700MB movie, the movie comes out great. But when I use these settings to do an episode from a DVD, it comes out like I mentioned above. Am I doing something wrong??

    thanks

check to original soundformat of the dvd - it seems to be off-standard

I wasn't sure what you meant by original soundformat of the dvd... but i tried turning off audio compression and just having raw wave... and I got the same output. I know its not just an audio problem tho.. because the video runs fast and it jumps about once a second.
