    Your avi is possibly corrupt.

      To staffy007:

Are you using one of the "Project Wizard" templates in TMPGEnc, and if so, which one?

"no wizard, but avi has a lot of bad frames"

Try the following method (originally posted by setarip):

          1) Load the .AVI file (DivX-compressed or otherwise) into the most recent version of either VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod

          2) Set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copy"

          3) Select "Check for errors"

          4) Select "Mask bad frames"

          5) Save with a new filename

Then try and import your "Repaired" AVI file in TMPGEnc.

I have a similar problem with TMPGinc. When I am trying to combine a m2v and a mp2 file into a mpeg-2, it reaches halfway then an error message pops up.

" 5147 s packets cause buffer underflow. The MPEG file might cause error when it played. "
