    wrong speed.. firmware?

    hi mates, any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance: here's the subject:

    Got an LG MultiDVDRAM - GSA 4081B and RITEKG5 4x midias, but Shrink and Nero recognize only 2x to let me burn the DVD-Rs.

    would be a firware solution?
    is there a way to make the drive burn at the related speed using this softwares and any other?

    i checked the midias with infoPro as below:

    Media ID code speed is the rating of the disc.
    Available write descriptor is how your burner sees it, and since this is 2x a firmware upgrade is needed to burn @4x.
