Need To Capture PAL 60 (NTSC video from PAL video player) PLEASE HELP!

    Hey guys,

    You are my only hope!!

I have just recently bought a Digital TV tuner card with inbuilt analog capture facility.

Now digitising PAL videos are fine, just played through my PAL VHS player (I am in Australia), but I have an NTSC video I am dying to be able to capture, but the only thing is, when you play an NTSC video in a PAL player, it will upconvert to PAL 60, an amalgm of PAL and NTSC. And no programs seem to be able to get the PAL 60 signal.

Can anyone help? I am so at my wits end and desperately need help. I will do anything! lol.

    Cheers guys,
    Ben

Had this problem myself in PAL world, and ended up buying an NTSC VCR. Not too pricey these days, if your capture does both.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried to find an NTSC player, but to no avail. Is there no other options for me?

      Cheers,
      Ben
