    Avi>vob = No sound

I've been making dvds out of avis for ages now and never had this problem until today.

i convert the avi to .m2v and wav with tmpgenc.
i test the encoded wav file and it plays fine.

I use tmpenc dvd author to create the vob files then i test the vob files with windvd and there is no sound!
i tried burning a dvd and there was no sound.

I tried uninstalling dvd author and reinstalling and the same problem occurs.

I tried a number of different authoring programmes and all of them made the vob files have no sound.

This is most strange because just yesterday i made two movies just fine and the files come out of TmpgEnc just fine.

Why would my computer suddenly decide not to put the sound in the vob files?!

btw, i tested the avi with Gspot and the audio isnt Ac3.
I've had a number of movies with Ac3 and have never had this problem.

    Thanks

Try changing the TMPGEnc settings so that you create one complete MPEG2 file, rather than separate video and audio files...
