CD DVD Playback Issues!

I burned a series (Deadwood) containing 12 episodes to dvd+r disk.

All of the episodes worked fine (perfect!) when they were played directly from the hard drive on my computer but now they are on the dvd they are pixelated and freese a little?!

Does anyone know why please?

Is it the method in which i have burnt them or something?!

I burnt them using nero and just burnt them as data.

Any advice would be apreciated.

More than one possible cause:

1) Low quality media - Try higher quality media, such as Ritek

2) Make certain there are no other (unnecessary) programs (foreground or background) running when burning the DVD
