    Sealab 2021. Couldn't get a complete burn?

Tried doing a backup using DVDShrink and DVDXCOPY Platinum. Neither would do a complete burn and drop out different parts of the dvd. Such as dropping off the last 5 minutes of a show or leaving out full episodes. Any ideas?

What program do you use for burning with DVDShrink?

DVD Shrink does NOT come with a burning program. It can be used DIRECTLY with NERO and/or DVD Decrypter.

So what is the name and version number of the burning program you are using in conjunction with DVD Shrink?

DVDShrink don't come with a burning program. Either it uses Nero or DVDDecrypter or CopyToDVD for burning.

I click on the backup button in DVDshrink and it burns to the blank dvd?

Thanks for helping me out by the way

OOPS! just reread your post and realized I missread it. You saying it uses another program to backup. How can I tell which one its using?

When you clic on the backup button is your target device your burner? or are you burning an ISO file DVDDecrypter?

The disc you have backup up - can you play it in your DVD player - and the problem is that there are some parts of the movie that isn't there?

Or is it that the error message happens while you are

Im burning directly from my Sony DVD-ROM drive to my NEC 2500a dvd burner drive. Did not use DVDdecrypter.

I can play it in my DVD player connected to my TV but some parts are missing.

No error messages that I noticed.

What part is missing - the extras or in the main movie?

It random. I hit play all the first time and the last 5 minutes are missing from episode 1 and the beginning of episode 2. Also if I tried selecting a episode from the episode menu some episodes where there while others weren't copied. For example episode 4 and 6 are there but 5 is missing.

Is it just this DVD you are having problems with or any one?

It happens on occasion. Could it be a copy protection thing?

Are you using labels on your burned DVDs?
