    media player classic

    Please can someone help me?

Everytime I try to use Media Player Classic, I get a message saying "MEDIA PLAYER CLASSIC HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE".

I've downloaded the latest version of MPC and it worked ok once and then I started to get the same message again!

Has anyone got any ideas on this one, please?

If your O/S is WinXP, simply perform a "System Restore" back to the last time things were working properly...

Thanks for that, but unfortunately I can't do that as this is a new pc and all the software, etc is new! This problem has been happening from the beginning.

there are two versions of MPC, one for win XP/2000, another for 98/Me. Make sure you have the right one.
