When looking for a firmware update, first go to the manufactures website to see if they have an available update. (Sometimes its not there, but there is one.) For your brand of burner, go here: http://www.liteon.com/prod/getDriver...4_4&xml_id=4_4
After that, go here and search for your DVD burner/writer and see if there is one there. If there isn't, more than likely there is not a newer update for your firmware. - http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php
