DVD + RW (Verbatim)
I cant rewrite onto a DVD + RW disk, has anyone used a RW disk. This is my 3rd disk (so far no luck) when I delete all the data on the disk after 1st time.

have you tried just doing a "quick erase" ?
if all else fails, then take it (or give it) to your friend/s to erase it on a different burner. once you get it back, then "only" use the "quick erase".
it could plainly be that the media is of poor quality, or some burners just don't like certain "rw" media
