i recently did what you want to do. i used virtualdubmod, dbpoweramp, tmpgenc plus, tmpgenc dvd author.

      1) i demuxed the audio with vdubmod as (ogg)
      2) i saved the silent avi with vdubmod
      3) i converted the ogg audio to wav using dbpoweramp(freeware)
      4) encode the avi, with wav audio in tmpgenc
      5) author in dvd author.

            hi,
when i tried to open a file using virtual dub mod..i am getting the following error...

couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID' (unknown)/
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows(VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player are not suitable. Only "Direct Stream Copy' is available for this video.

how to go abt this probl...i have also download the matroska pack
