Your burner is not "seeing" your DVD+R...

    Your log: "6:30:55 PM #12 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 2162
    Recorder: DVDR/RW DD1601, Media type: DVD+R"

    My log: "#12 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 2309
    Recorder: PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-108, Media type: DVD+R
Disc Manufacturer ID: MAXELL, Media Type ID: 002, Product revision number: 0
Disc Application Code: 0, Extended Information Indicators: 3"

    1) What is the brand of DVD+R you used for this specific log's burning attempt? Have you used the same ones successfully before?

    2) Try burning at 2X

    3) Try running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on your burner. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US

      Thanks for your reply.

The brand I used when the DVD writer worked was Teon +R 8x. I tried Verbatim -R when my troubles started. The first -R disk I used failed and then the DVD writer stopped working.

I have another similar log file which detects the media but still gives me the same error.

I tried burning at different speeds without any success. All I haven't tried is:

      1) Cleaning the drive. 2) Upgrading the firmware/drivers.

      Thanks
