DVD-RW formatting time

How much time does it take to format a DVD-RW and can we re-format incase of problem ????

This is assuming that there is a need to format the DVD-RW

Every time you have used it - you need to erase/format it before a new use.

If you do the quick one - 20-30 seconds.

Normally the burning program will just ask you if you want to erase it - so just do it that way when you need to burn on it.
