Cant burn DVD's anymore, please help

    Hi,

I have a LDW-851S DVD burner, it burned great till a while ago, before I was using Princo without a flaw, but from one day on the other it wouldnt finalize DVDs anymore.

I am still able to burn CDs or DVDs when i only put a few files on them.

So I switched to Platinum DVDs and today to Fujifilm DVDs but it still wont work, I also already tried upgrading to the newest firmware GSOP.

Please help, here my nero log

    "Disc Manufacturer: Prodis - cF01"

one of the worst media around. it is the worst around the edges, that's why a few files on disc worked.

Well, I tried 3 different types of media and burned about 30 coasters, so I guess it a different problem.

i hope your exaggerating....they do make rw discs. you should use one unless you don't mind making "coasters".

what types of media did you try? what were the media ID codes? at what speeds were these burned at?
