Samsung DVD-HR720

Hi People... I'm very, very new to forums, so please bare with me!!

I have just bought a Samsung DVD-HR720, and to my dismay it has macrovision enabled. I have some old movie videos that I would like to copy to DVD but when I try itr says tha the movie is protected and won't let me. Can anyone tell me how to disable macrovision on the HR-720.

Also, is it possible to make it region free? It is currently on region 4.

Thanks for the reply LT. Columbo. I visited the site, and put in my model nnumber... no luck! I did however try the R121 and the R100. Both had region hacks which were the same as each other. I thought I might try the same region hack on the HR720. Do you think it will work? Could I do any damage?
