Just a head's up, for those who had not already come across these. It is finally possible to purchase dual layer printable blank media (of the DVD+R variety).
The good news: They are Verbatim DVD+R dual layer white printable discs. For thosw who do not know, the Verbatim DVD+R Dual Layer blanks have had the reputation of being the "safest" choice.
The bad news: They are not "hub printable." You cannot print all of the way to the center hub, as some prefer.
The "more" bad news: They are still quite expensive. We all knew there would be the usual premium to be paid for printable discs. Right now, Supermediastore's pricing on these appears to be about $5.00 per disc, and they are only available in a 20-pack (for a total of $99.80, without shipping).

The "more" good news: If you can stand to deal with the hassles of a rebate, and if you can stand to deal with Meritline.com, you can buy them for exactly $110.99 for the same 20-pack, and then send in a rebate form and wait for a $40 rebate check to appear. Someday. This would bring the final total price down to about $3 per disc, without shipping costs.
