    Default Nero failed copying CD

    This is the first time nero has ever failed copying a CD.
    The CD is nirvana - In utero.

    I have the latest version of nero

    Try using Roxio. That is what I copy with and it works perfectly. Another way to do it is using an audio program like Windows Media Player or MusicMatch - though that involves ripping the songs from the CD then burning them back again.

    Look at **052000 here for some possible clues and remedies. NOt al that impressed with that burner, BTW. And your ASPI is outa date.

    (been there and done that)

    it might be a good idea to reinstall nero after all the aspi stuff!

    i thought nero wasn't supposed to support copying of copyrighted material(as it says in the program!), yet my cousin tells me that he did a copy of the sopranos disc 1 just using simple copy disc option....

    Since this guy was copying audio cd's, but I will assume you're on forum and
    talking about dvd's, maybe the first sopranos didn't have CSS protection.

    AFAIK nero just gives a warning, I use my oldoldold copy of clonecd,
    but prefer to stay digital.
