Thanks jeo and blu so much for bringing this handy tool to us. It seems to do what it is built for, easy and fast too. The newer version 1.10 is already available for downloading too

I just got the new version also, THANKS for the headsup. It looks like an intersting program!! The only thing I can see that I might not like is that it removes the original menus. Does it rewrite a menu or is navigation just by the chapters. I have not tried it yet. And I used Winrar to open the .lzh

    True, thanks blutach I know

@jeo - I was just wondering now that you reposted, does it delete the old menu and chnage it to a new one with the new chapter intervals? Or is the menu gone completely?

I've tested this tool with only 2 DVDs. The first test was a copy with main movie only by DVD Shrink without menu. All the original chapters were deleted and replaced with new chapters. The process went accurately smooth and fast. The second test with my son's original DVD, Cinderella 2, with menu and extras, Chapter Edit just popped up an error for not supporting multi-titles - cannot continue. I'll test again with my homemade DVD with single title and menu included to see if it will delete the menu and replace with a new one or just delete it completely. IMHO, I really doubt that Chapter Edit would offer a new menu with the new chapter intervals though

    Regards

@benbryant - Thanks for the test! I like my menu and the chapter selections. And normally the chapter selections that come on a DVD are ok.

yes,the "old" menu is deleted for a new one.
    from the read-me:

    "Multi title is not supported.
    Original DVD menus are deleted."

i did a little and fast test with atention only looking the results in the chapters and don't had pay atention in this importants "details".
now i'm mixed, this is good or bad?

jeo -it's very easy to put the menus and extras back.

What you are doing is same as DVD Shrink does when it is in re-author mode.

See guide on the VobBlanker site.

@blutach - Won't putting the original menus back in have the original chapter setting? Or will the Chapter edit changes still be there along with the original chapter intervals, giving more chapter intervals to select?
