Brute Anti Blocking Matrix CCE, the right one

This is an Brute Anti Blocking matrix to use in conjuction with CCE.

Watch out, due to internal miscommunication (it was refered as the 127-matrix), I posted the wrong version on DOOM9, (who cares ?) but this is the correct version.

It has proven great results for CCE, that tends to block on lower bitrates because CCE is trigger happy encoding details, even when the overall bitrate even does not provide enough space for it, resulting in macro-blocking.

As this matrix tells CCE not to encode details at it highest treshold (127), it provide more room for macro-block encoding resulting in less blocky pictures.

    Try them, and see yourself.

By the way it's for CCE SP 2.66/2.67 versions intended, can also be used with 2.70, but adaptive quantization would override it in 2.70.

Here they are (BAB matrices, Brute Anti Blocking):

    008 016 019 022 099 127 127 127
    016 016 022 024 099 127 127 127
    019 022 026 027 099 127 127 127
    022 022 026 027 099 127 127 127
    040 045 050 055 099 127 127 127
    099 099 099 099 127 127 127 127
    099 099 099 127 127 127 127 127
    099 099 127 127 127 127 127 127

    016 017 018 019 099 127 127 127
    017 018 019 020 099 127 127 127
    018 019 020 021 099 127 127 127
    019 020 021 022 099 127 127 127
    040 045 050 055 099 127 127 127
    099 099 099 099 127 127 127 127
    099 099 099 127 127 127 127 127
    099 099 127 127 127 127 127 127

Use matrix editor other copy and paste to put them in MATRIX folder of DVD-RB.

Try them on 3000-4000 stuff tha't having blocky high motion scenes.
And then there was Blue Ray........ Nothing to backup anymore......

With all respect, but regarding youre answer, the facts:

      1) It's the wrong matrix posted there, so this one isn't dicussed there (so calm down a bit and read what is posted)
      2) For refering to DOOM9, this isn't the right place, as some members here are NOT too charmed about DOOM9.
      3) If you like these referings so much, as this is the second time, I suggest you answer to every post refering to another source on the Internet as over 90% of the posts can be answered like this. It would imply a whole day job however. But seems to be the case that youre able to find it on DOOM9 everytime (concerning my posts), which gives food for thought and raises some questions at least.

For me I'm more interested in results and improvements that others can offer. That seems of more use to me then refering wrongly to another forum.

So give it a try, this is the CORRECT matrix and the one on DOOM9 was a complete mistake made by me, as I even couldn't believe it.

But extracting matrices from the test-sample quickly solved the problem.

      This is the right one.

So let people having CCE SP 2.66/2.67 give it a try and make improvements based on this one.

That's what we should be doing here, helping, asking and supporting others.

I thought that was the general idea of a forum in the first place.

And if you post a referer , please be correct.

      Regards

        wrong

i do not refer to doom9 all the time

it's more the other way around: YOU start something at doom9 at as soon as those guys tell you you're wrong you seem to repeat the same story HERE

as it is not the same Matrix is not the same story.........., again.

          Seems difficult to see......

I would have corrected it at doom9, but that wasn't possible, as DOOM9 again tried to behave in an intelligent way, deleting me and an account of my friend, because they noticed the same IP, which of course isn't possible in todays live especially not using a wireless network...... .... (sharing = saving). In fact 5 'users' are connected to it, which have partners, friends and even children......

So the correction is made here, not at DOOM9.

As you are obviously triggered by this, make another forum rule:

"Crosspostings or post about anything near to a post in another forum on the internet is forbidden and results in immediate account deletion"

Afterwards you can close this forum....
And then there was Blue Ray........ Nothing to backup anymore......

I'm wondering where all this sarcasm is getting us apfraats? Please observe rule 2 in this regard.

Reference to other sites where info can be obtained is, of course, legitimate and encouraged.

I see no real reason to continue this line of discussion.
