          0.9.1.6 (2005-12-21)

          • new: Null Encoder to remux a already encoded project.
          • new: Auto Compressibility Check option.
          • new: Auto Mode: Normally StaxRip performs various tasks directly after a source file is opened like demuxing, auto crop, auto resize etc. In Auto Mode all this tasks are performed when the encoding is started (either manually or by the joblist).
          • new: Profiles can be edited from within the profiles dialog, even encoder and AviSynth profiles!
          • change: Simplified AviSynth menu.
Since nobody but UncasMS and me posted I would like to stress that I'm using this thread to support StaxRip so if anybody has a problem, suggestion, request or so I'd be happy to hear from you.

                  Hi Tommi,
it's a little bit problematic as it don't has has a command line interface. Doesn't ProjectX work for you? Works great here.

                    Assync Audio/Video

                    Hi Stax,
                    thanks for quick reply.

I have changed the Order in View ->project options -> preparation:
                    1)ProjectX
                    2)DGIndex
                    3)AVI2WAV

ProjectX is running for a 1 msec ( cmd-box open and close itselfs ).

                      Assync Video/Audio

                      Hi Stax,
                      find something interisting for you.

Seems that ProjectX has changed his CommandLine-Propertys.

While Using PX 0.81.7 and confirming to use "wrong" Version of PX,
StaxRip will use PX. I am testing now converting mpg to DivX with cutting etc.

0.90.1 is the supported version and thus works here. I'm using it for mpg's capture with DVBViewer but other DVB captures should work as well. It's possible that 0.90.1 failes on your stream because of some bug.

i have used 0917 recently and converted starwars3 using xvid, divx6 and h264

being a long-time user and supporter of stax former tool DVX i must say this new tool has become even simpler and extremely easy to use

missing components were downloaded and installed more or less automatically, target size was absolutely fine and user defined settings came very handy

                          nice new project, stax!

Great to hear it works, still many novice users have lot's of problems but I'm working on making it much more easy.

but this release worked fine for me
